What is Meli?
Meli is a turn-based battle game where all the game assets are linked to NFTs.
Named after the Latin word Meliora, which means “better”, Meli combines battling with game advancements including ranking, egg hatching, and farming.
Players will lead their “Gynoids” to fight in the Meli Metaverse, either for a better future or for profits. Ranking is dependent on the player’s ability and gynoids level.
Game Elements
Gynoid is the collective name of all the NFT characters in Meli.
Melior’s are teenage gynoid girls from the subculture circle armed with machines
Aliens are non-human players (NHP’s) that are trying to take over the world and harvest the resources.
MELI token Melior’s have to fight the Aliens in quests to receive MELI tokens used for breading.
PCE Tokens are obtained by competing in battling other Melior’s in monthly ranked tournaments
Upgrades Players can improve the Melior’s specs though upgrades purchased with PCE Tokens.
Development Planning.
- 2020 Q2- 2021 Q1: Market research, feasibility study, plan MELI game, and design roles.
- 2021Q1–2021Q4: Develop MELI smart contract and gameplay, build the alliance of on-chain game guild and blockchain asset trading platform, launch NFT role auction and the private as well as public sale
- 2021Q4: Launch the NFT trading market, the availability of PVE/PVP, H5, PC, and APPs, list in-game assets on major trading platforms
- 2022Q1: Improve the existing game, optimize the local structure, and launch new playable modes
- 2022Q2: Test the solution of Layer, update and optimize the land board, explore the new economy of land
- 2022Q3: Continue the gameplay exploration to enable every player to make profits while having fun, and promote the cooperation of on-chain games.
There is more to expect in the future. Meli will keep exploring the combination of AR/VR and on-chain games, making sure that every player can feel the immersive excitement brought by the game, and experience the wonderful combination of reality and imagination.
